Why use an UltiPhos Reactor?
The main issue with current fluidised reactors is that they cause media abrasion and breakdown resulting in the release of fines into the aquarium. The UltiPhos Reactor is specifically designed to avoid this whilst retaining the advantages of reverse (up-flow) operation. By passing the aquarium water very slowly through the reactor media integrity is maintained and a slow and controlled drop in phosphates is observed.
Positioning Options: The UltiPhos Reactor is supplied with a pump and can be used beside or in a sump.
