ULTIGROW PHYTO FOOD

An easy to use single component phytoplankton culture media-just add seawater!

Being a liquid, mixing is simplicity itself there are no powders to dissolve or complex recipes to follow.  Just add 1ml per litre of sterile seawater to produce a complete phytoplankton culture medium based on Guillard's F2 formulation. 

This media has a very wide range of application and is suitable for most 'aquaculture algae' such as: Chaetoceros calcitrans, Chaetoceros muelleri, Chaetoceros neogracile, Dunaliella tertiolecta, Isochrysis sp., Pavlova lutheri, Skeletonema costatum, Tetraselmis sp. and so on.

In high density cultures (such as tubular reactors) Ultigrow can be used at double strength (i.e. 2ml per litre).

Ultigrow is intended for the culture of phytoplankton as a feed stuff for ornamental aquariums, it is not intended to be used in the human food chain.  Keep in a cool dark place out of reach of Children.
