We have one of each style on display in the shop. So if you want to see how big they are or what they look like in the flesh, pop along and have a look! All Juwel aquariums are a complete and neat unit with no external pipes or filter boxes to leak. The Juwel Internal Filter and Heating system combines all the advantages of an external canister filter but with the ease of maintenance of a traditional internal filter. The filter is multi-layered with a layer of disposable filter floss at the top to catch coarse dirt and dead plant material, next a carbon filter removes chemical pollutants and yellow coloration from the water. Then layers of open-pored sponges provide a huge surface area for bacterial colonisation, and finally a very fine pored sponge retains even the smallest particles making the water crystal-clear.
Juwel tanks are available in a variety of shapes (corner, rectangle, square, and bowfronted) and two colours Beech and Black. In our opinion the Juwel system represents the best in high quality, low maintenance, idiot-proof fishkeeping (even our directors have one !).
